This role involves delivering high-quality, rapid-response care to patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates sound clinical judgment, and maintains composure under pressure. Key Responsibilities : Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including triage, assessment, treatment, and stabilization Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage emergent and non-emergent cases Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to critical changes in patient condition Document care accurately and in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Support patient and family education during high-stress situations Qualifications : Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and PALS preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities
