Our client is a global leader in chemical manufacturing, is looking for a Buyer to join our Purchasing team in Plaquemine, Louisiana.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and enjoys negotiating, sourcing materials, and managing vendor relationships. You’ll play a key part in ensuring plant operations run efficiently by handling the purchasing of raw materials, equipment, and services.

What You’ll Do :

• Purchase and expedite materials, spare parts, and services for plant operations.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Audit purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with internal teams to meet purchasing needs and project timelines.
• Analyze market trends to make smart, cost-effective buying decisions.
