Job Summary :

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for day-to-day payroll and processing and reporting as well as recording in the general ledger.

This role is based in Brentwood, TN.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Process and manage accounts payable transactions

• Enters, maintains, and processes information in the payroll system accurately and on time; information may include employees hourly rates, salaries, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information
• Creates and maintains confidential and accurate employee and payroll files.
• Runs ad hoc reports, creates / files reports as needed.
• Reconciles payroll to the general ledger
• Address and resolve employee questions and issues related to their paychecks and payroll information
• Other duties as assigned.

Please note the selected candidate will be required to submit to full pre-employment background and drug screening. This is an office environment position requiring a daily commute to Brentwood, TN. It is a full-time position (Monday - Friday - 8 to 5).
