Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Position Title : Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (M / S) Location : Houlton, ME Contract Type : 13 Weeks Shift : 3x12 Hour Night Shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical unit. Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, treatment responses, and progress. Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care plans. Maintain a safe and clean environment while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. Requirements : Active Maine RN License or compact state license. Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg experience in an acute care setting. Prior travel nursing experience required. BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
