Business Consultant Overview:
The Business Consultant is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements to support organizational goals and initiatives. Working under general supervision, this role partners with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, define solutions, and ensure project deliverables meet business needs. The Business Consultant will collaborate across teams to translate user needs into functional specifications, validate process improvements, and support successful system implementations. This position requires strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills, as well as the ability to adapt to dynamic business priorities.
Job Duties:
• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document detailed business and system requirements
• Understand and align stakeholder and organizational needs with proposed solutions
• Analyze business and user requirements to develop effective process improvements
• Communicate, verify, and obtain approval for requirements from stakeholders
• Develop or modify procedures to address moderately complex business problems
• Contribute to project plans, estimates, readiness reviews, and defect management activities
