Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Optometric Technician to join our team! As an Optometric Technician, you will be responsible for various clinical tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the practice, while maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and is extremely organized. You will help maintain an organized, clean work environment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and gather medical history and relevant information for their visit.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
• Verify insurance information as needed.
• Perform preliminary tests and measurements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct contact lens trainings and educate patients on proper contact lens care practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times
• Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience desired
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
