Director Of Facilities
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities :
- Monitors production workflow, time schedules and quality of work performed by outside vendors (e.g. cleaning, maintenance)
- Oversees and may perform preventive maintenance inspections monthly
- Oversees vendor and staff activities for snow removal, fuel allocation, and other activities as needed
- Oversees work assignments of staff as required.
- Perform job duties relevant to trade.
- Responsible for equipment management and repairs
- Oversees budget management and forecasting
- Approves all requests for proposals and special events
- Ensures all building permits are obtained
- Updates equipment inventory and completes documentation as necessary
- Responsible for all building and grounds maintenance, housekeeping, receiving and storage, transportation services and mail systems for the Health Center
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies
- Ensures quarterly fire and health safety drills are performed
- Ensures monthly fire extinguisher maintenance
- Maintain / Monitor sprinkler, HVAC, plumbing, and security systems
- Oversee maintenance of space and develop standards for space
- Responsible for all renovation building projects at all sites
- Must be team player
- Attend required meetings
- Demonstrate understanding of the health center mission
- Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the established CHC Values and Standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Degree and Trade School Diploma required.Associate or bachelor's degree along with Contractor license a plus.Min. 5 years management experience in facility maintenance.Licensed in Trade (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or equivalent)Experience working in Health Care facilities environment required.Strong leadership skills.Familiar with the use of all trade tools and equipment.Knowledge of DPH & Department of Safety audits helpful.Knowledge of Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Facilities (JCAHO)Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
