Volt is immediately hiring for CMM Programmer  / Quality Inspector to work in Carlsbad, Ca.

As a CMM Programmer you will :

• Write and revise  control test procedures  to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and relevance to current processes
• Assist in the  design and development of measurement procedures and testing methods
• Support the  implementation and operation of testing equipment and machinery
• Perform  testing and dimensional inspections  to verify compliance with specifications
• Set up and program  CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)  for inspection tasks
• Utilize  precision measurement tools  including height gauges, calipers, and micrometers
• Assist with the  inspection of printed circuit boards (PCBs)  for quality compliance
• Review and approve  non-conformance reports (NCs)  and  Material Review Board (MRB)  dispositions
• Analyze  customer contract documents  (e.g., purchase orders, specs, statements of work) to ensure product compliance with requirements
• Perform  data analysis and reporting  to identify quality trends and recommend updates to procedures or standards
• Initiate and support  Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)  activities, including root cause analysis and follow-up
• Enter and manage  reason codes  within the ERP system in alignment with  Statistical Quality Control (SQC)  and  Statistical Process Control (SPC)  standards

Pay Rate :   $28.00-32.00 / hr+
