Senior Software Test Developer - DriveOS

Move the needle in testing NVIDIA's DriveOS automotive operating system! As a highly skilled and motivated senior software developer you will push the boundaries for testing and automation. What you'll be doing :

You will have a unique opportunity to make of pushing the boundaries and ensuring the perfect performance of Nvidia's DriveOS. Your contributions will directly impact the verification strategy for DriveOS and its quality. Priorities do often change in a fast-paced environment like ours. Some of the exciting things you will work on are :

Developing new and extending existing test strategies to guarantee the highest level of quality from both functional and performance perspectives. Your innovative approach will ensure that DriveOS meets the standards expected from a world-class product.

Designing and developing software that automates the verification of all DriveOS components. Your expertise in developing efficient and reliable automation tools will play a crucial role in streamlining our testing processes.

Collaborating with multiple development, verification, and customer-facing teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of DriveOS as a product and its real-world applications. Your ability to collaborate effectively is essential for driving continuous improvement.

Analyzing and root-causing issues down to the code level, leading the defect fixing process, and providing effective fixes. Your strong problem-solving skills will allow you to address challenges with efficiency and precision.

What we need to see :

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of relevant work experience in software development. Your consistent track record in developing large-scale, logical code from scratch in Python or C++ will be instrumental in driving our automation efforts.

Experience in using AI coding assistants to improve coding efficiency and correctness

Proficiency in Linux environments. Your versatility in working with Linux and Unix-like systems will be critical for ensuring compatibility and seamless integration.

Experience using source control systems such as Git and Perforce. Your knowledge of these tools will facilitate efficient teamwork and version control.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve shared goals.

Strong analytical skills. Your keen eye for detail and ability to analyze complex issues will enable you to identify and resolve potential challenges proactively.

Ways to stand out from the crowd :

• Demonstrated experience working with embedded systems and network technologies (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth). Your familiarity with these technologies will help you to adapt quickly to the unique requirements of our automotive platform.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4.
