Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on large-scale commercial projects such as office buildings, retail centers, schools, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in structural framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry, with a strong understanding of commercial building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities :

• Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications for commercial projects.
• Construct, install, and repair structures including walls, floors, ceilings, partitions, and doors.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Install metal and wood framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, and millwork.
• Ensure all work meets commercial building codes and project specifications.
• Collaborate with other trades (electricians, plumbers, HVAC) to coordinate workflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.

Work Environment :

Work on commercial construction sites from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4 pm. The work sites are within a 2-hour radius of Mercersburg, PA.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State Line, PA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
