HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Quality Patient Safety & Risk Program Manager for a 350+ bed hospital in Southern California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Peer reviews for Cardiovascular, Medicine, and ED
- Sepsis Core Measures LA County SRC / STEMI abstractions and submissions
- Reviews and audits of Mortality, Code Blue, Cardiac Service line, and Critical Care cases / bundle compliance
- OPPE reappointment and contract performance evaluation data for the Medicine Department
- Risk, Grievances and JC survey readiness
Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree preferredExperience : Minimum of five (5) years of risk management, patient safety, quality, compliance in an acute care setting; Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing / supervising employees and vendorsLicensure : California RN licenseCertifications : BLS from the AHA required prior to start date if an RNComputer Skills : Cerner experience strongly preferredExpenses covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, and rental car.
