Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership : Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned projects to ensure successful delivery on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
- Preconstruction : Participate in estimating, budgeting, and bidding. Develop work plans, project schedules, and subcontractor scopes of work.
- Contract Management : Prepare, review, and administer contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and submittals.
- Team Coordination : Collaborate closely with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to maintain alignment and resolve conflicts.
- Financial Oversight : Monitor budgets, forecasts, pay applications, and cost control measures while providing accurate reporting to leadership.
- Scheduling : Develop and update project schedules, ensuring proper sequencing and resource allocation.
- Quality & Safety : E nforce company and regulatory standards for quality assurance and jobsite safety, conducting site visits and inspections as needed.
- Client Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Closeout : Oversee punch lists, warranty documentation, and successful project turnover.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects in the DMV region.Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and financial controls.Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Reliable transportation with ability to travel across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.Benefits
