Program Nurse

Clarity Wellness Community is a progressive not-for-profit organization providing mental health services in Allegany and Wyoming counties. Clarity's mission is to empower people with care, connections and support for a lifetime of choice. We are currently seeking a full-time registered nurse in our Wellsville, NY offices to support children, adults or families on their path to wellness.

Program nurses at Clarity work in a dynamic and person-centered clinical setting focusing primarily on the medical and pharmacological needs of those receiving services. The program nurse also exercises a vital role as a liaison between clinical counselors and prescribers. A few of these responsibilities include :

• Providing nursing support to the prescriber by completing health monitoring or symptom monitoring services prior to medication management appointments or psychiatric evaluations
• Providing medication education to those receiving psychotropic medications
• Providing supervision to LPN Staff as assigned
• Administering IM injections as ordered by the prescriber
• Reviewing health screening forms for new admissions and make additional health related service recommendations
• No nights, no weekends, no on-call!

Hours : Full-time 40 hours (Monday-Friday)
