Job description

Starting Salary : $80,000 - $100,000 / year based on experience PLUS a $10,000 Relocation Bonus!

As a Speech Language Pathologist , your role will involve delivering tailored speech therapy services to elementary school students, focusing on their unique diagnoses and needs to foster improvements in speech functioning. Your responsibilities will encompass :

  • Evaluating students' communication abilities and creating individualized, evidence-based therapy programs.
  • Monitoring progress using data-driven practices and providing valuable feedback to support students' personal goals.
  • Implementing effective and engaging speech therapy techniques in settings that cater to each child's requirements.
  • Writing thorough progress reports and adjusting therapy plans as necessary to optimize student outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate case records in compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
  • Ensuring timely documentation of session notes and billing within 24 hours of each client visit.
  • Establishing respectful communication with families for effective scheduling and support.
  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and managing appropriate treatment plans.
  • Leading staff trainings and sharing best practices to enhance clinical service quality.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to support holistic care.
  • Fulfilling additional responsibilities to positively contribute to the clinical team.

Qualifications Required :

  • Master's degree or higher in speech pathology or related field.
  • Current licensing or in process of obtaining state speech language pathology (SLP) credential.
  • Experience with special education services, particularly for students with autism and emotional disturbances.
  • Demonstrated success in developing effective treatment plans for diverse student needs.
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient with technology including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
