Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist/Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with speech-related challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance communication skills and address swallowing difficulties.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and family members to ensure holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills at home.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.

Experience

• A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Experience working with diverse populations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
