Why we need you:

We're building a company that transitions properties from single-landlord ownership to a coalition of the people who make our small businesses thrive: the business owners, and the communities of people that stand behind them. To do that well, we need to connect the dots — across properties, people, businesses, documents, market data — into a unified system that powers our financial and technology products at scale. Your mission? Build the system that levels the playing field — arming America’s grittiest entrepreneurs with the data, insights, and strategies to not just compete but dominate.

What you'll do:

• Build the backbone. Implement heavy data transformation simply, cleanly and modularly, with the infrastructure to support it, in order to drive the customer journeys in a data and analytics-heavy application.

• Connect the dots. Use data to make real estate purchases doable for the small business owner; we’re bringing together third and first party data sources to create transparent real estate pricing, and match that to small business financial data, and investor data, in a way that will empower the small business owner.

• Accuracy and customer obsession. We’re changing lives - delivering high quality data to create and support that change is critical.

What makes you a great fit:

• You have 2+ years experience with GCP, including object storage, permissions, and a working knowledge of relational modeling and schema evolution strategies

• You’ve spent 5+ years building data products: production proficiency in python and SQL, and are comfortable designing storage structures that serve multiple use cases.

• Proficiency in best practices including, maintainable modular code, unit and data quality tests

• 2+ years of experience with Databricks pyspark a strong plus, familiarity with data products using AI/ML also a plus
