Job Requirements

Education Requirements

Valid RN license in Montana or eligibility through compact state agreements.

Active Montana State RN license required.

Certifications Requirements

BLS certification required.

ACLS & PALS certifications preferred.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, specifically in ER settings.

Proven ability to manage ER patient care and lead as an ER Charge Nurse.

Other Requirements

Must have a Montana State License and BLS certification.

Strong leadership skills, flexibility, and adaptability to dynamic clinical environments.

Willingness to float minimally and adhere to hospital policies.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care and coordinate patient treatment as an ER Charge Nurse .

Supervise and support nursing staff during night shifts (3x12s, 6p-6a).

Manage swing bed responsibilities with minimal oversight.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Serve as a leader during shift changes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.

Document patient care accurately and efficiently using hospital EMR systems.

Handle urgent situations in the ER with calmness and professionalism.

Support hospital initiatives for patient safety and quality improvement.
