As the Junior Risk Analyst you will assist in the daily administration of insurance, surety, claims (excluding workers' compensation) and risk management activities. This includes but is not limited to issuance of certificates of insurance, surety bonds, accrual reviews and billing reconciliations. In addition, this position has responsibility for management, administration of risk databases, various schedules, third-party software and systems.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance / surety / risk management desired.
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
- Strong Computer Skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs, including Excel.
- Motivated self-starter with a logical, practical and creative mindset.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Strong team player; willingness to listen to and act on feedback.
- Understanding of multiple lines of property and casualty insurance a plus.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Strong organizational skills a must.
- Rhode Island Insurance Producer license a plus.
- Associate / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
