QA Engineer

The QA Engineer will join the organization and be responsible for testing four different applications. In addition to performing the testing (80% automation / 20% manual) for these applications / platforms, s / he will also be expected to create scripts to test the current testing scripts. As these apps / platforms are being more widely used, the occurrence of bugs grows. Therefore, they need QA resources to perform the web-based UI and API testing for these applications.

Must Have :

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer performing web-based ( UI and API ) testing for enterprise applications

Experience testing with JMeter OR JUnit OR TestNG

D2D : The QA Engineer will be responsible for testing four different applications this team owns. In addition to performing the testing (80% automation / 20% manual) for these applications / platforms, s / he will also be expected to create scripts to test the current testing scripts. As these apps / platforms are being more widely used, the number of bugs increases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in order to interface with the developers to ensure that the code is handed off correctly and he / she has what they need to test it effectively. Additionally, s / he we be expected to report back any bugs to the development teams.
