Overview
Responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Florida Recovery Center call center, reviewing call volume, assisting with triaging calls, arranging appointments for level of care assessments and ensuring timely follow up on calls and requests, providing direction and support to the call center staff. Participates in the clinical operations of the FRC program by conducting scheduled psycho-educational groups, meeting with patients as needed and making follow up calls when indicated to referring entities or other persons involved in the care of the patient. Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary treatment team and the business office. Conducts level of care assessments when indicated and follows all the documentation requirements. Provides data and information to the leadership team on a needed basis. Able to do presentations and facility tours to community partners, families and other parties. Participates in the administrative on call rotation.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements : Bachelor\'s degree with certification in addiction plus 5 years of experience or Master\'s degree in mental health services or other related clinical field from accredited university required. Behavioral health care experience, especially experience with substance abuse disorders required. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to build positive working relationships and be able to negotiate and manage challenging situations diplomatically. Has the ability to weigh the patient\'s medical and psychosocial-emotional needs against criteria to assist the clinical team in determining most appropriate use of resources. Must be able to complete level of care assessments and triage the findings to the appropriate services. Must have strong computer skills and be very adaptable in learning various computer programs. If in recovery, must have a minimum of 2 years of sobriety and working an active recovery program. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation : Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a \'non-frequent driver\'. Note : A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his / her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his / her job. Licensure / Certification / Registration : Florida licensure in social work or related clinical field, or license-eligible and actively working to obtain licensure preferred.
