Job description

Russ Hadick & Associates, Inc has partnered with a Cincinnati client to help them search and qualify candidates for their Controller to oversee the financial operations of a distribution and service company and its subsidiary companies.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Management and Reporting :

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management.

Accounting Operations :

  • Work closely with Operations and Sales teams with monthly activity and sales orders.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Monitor and implement changes in accounting regulations relevant to distribution and service industries.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize working capital and oversee credit and collections processes.
