As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service, assisting individuals and responding to incidents as needed. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by implementing security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following protocols appropriate for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Assist patients, staff, and visitors with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any security-related irregularities.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and / or lockdowns when appropriate.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required for employment at hospital client locations.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
