Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Unix Shell Scripting Expert with PL / SQL Development to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing automation scripts, managing complex database operations, and ensuring seamless integration across backend systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Unix / Linux shell scripts for automation, batch processing, and system integrations.
• Design, implement, and enhance database components including PL / SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient, scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing Unix scripts, database programs, and SQL queries.
• Ensure smooth integration between Unix-based automation and database / backend systems.
• Support production deployments, monitor scheduled jobs, and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct performance tuning of scripts and database queries to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Salary Transparency

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $60000 to $80123 / yearly. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
