As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver (Auto) in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including parking lots and automotive facilities, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and client representatives regarding incidents and ongoing activities.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.

Support emergency response efforts as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as part of site documentation requirements.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

A security-related guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
