Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center is a locally owned, state of the art Orthopedic ambulatory surgery center that provides a range of procedures including knee arthroscopy, lumbar and cervical injections, carpal tunnel release, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repaid and joint replacement. Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center offers a collegial, team oriented environment and a quick and streamlined credentialing process.

Responsibilities

Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia DepartmentResponsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and / or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical proceduresPre-anesthesia assessmentObtains and / or verifies patient consentDiscuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesiaMonitoring of the patient's physiological conditionPerformance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

M.D. / D.O. Degree from an accredited College of MedicineECFMG and FLEXCompletion of approved residency in anesthesiaCurrently licensed as a physician
