MHNP PT Opportunity-Pendleton, OR

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providespsychiatric health care services to patients within scope of license, performsmental health examinations, diagnostic testing, assessments and screenings,prescribes medications and instructs patients and family members on psychiatricillnesses and treatment options.

Minimum Requirements :

Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP) by state in which employee is practicing

Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationallyaccredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners -AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center - ANCC) is preferred

Specialty Certification as per client request and or stateregulations if applicable

One year experience as a PMHNP preferred

Three years' experience in mental health field preferred

Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
