14P Air and Missile Defense Crewmember Job Description

The role of 14P Air and Missile Defense Crewmember is a crucial one within the Army's air defense artillery team. This crewmember operates and maintains three surface-to-air advanced weapons systems, providing vital mobile short-range air defense protection against cruise missiles and other threats.

This position involves reloading and resupplying these weapons systems, as well as utilizing them to track, identify, and destroy enemy threats. Soldiers in this branch will initially enlist as an Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Soldier and be assigned to a specific ADA job based on available Army opportunities and skills assessed during Basic Combat Training.

Requirements

• Be a U.S. Citizen
• Age between 17 to 34 Years Old
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No Medical Concerns
• Eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
