Responsibilities :
- Provide general support to the company's legal department
- Assist with researching, drafting, and managing corporate policies
- Ensure company compliance with legal policies, state and federal laws, and regulations
- Draft and review contracts
- Gather, organize, and store information relevant to ongoing projects
- Work with industry-leading outside counsel
- Identify potential legal risks to the company
- Maintain the company's legal files, including a library of pre-approved form documents, templates, and historical documents; add or revise material as needed
- Provide support for litigation and regulatory-related matters
- Learn something new every day, become conversant in highly technical topics, and develop proficiencies
- Perform other related duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate
Qualifications :
Minimum of a J.D. Law Degree; 5-10 years of legal experience preferredLicensed (or about to become licensed in 2025) to practice law in the United StatesStrong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and ability to work independentlyAbility to identify underlying issues in complex situationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to juggle multiple priorities, organize time, meet deadlines, and handle highly confidential informationAbility to make decisions and justify legal recommendationsCustomer service orientation and a positive attitudeWillingness to learn continuouslyStrong proficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteThe total compensation package includes incentive compensation and benefits such as health insurance, unlimited paid time off, parental leave, a 401(k) matching program, and other employee benefits.
