• JOB DESCRIPTION :

RSVC Company is looking for an experienced commercial epoxy technician. Our epoxy technicians are responsible for preparing and applying epoxy and other floor coatings to concrete and other flooring surfaces. They should have experience in installing and repairing LVT, VCT, BBT, Ceramic Tile and Quarry Tile is a plus. Epoxy technicians are not just responsible for epoxy preparation and installation, but also the pick up and transport of epoxy and epoxy materials, and epoxy related tasks such as moving and covering of objects within the scope of work, flooring repairs prior to installation, operating epoxy equipment such as machine grinders, and proper clean up of jobsites when work is completed. RSVC Company is willing to train motivated applicants with little to no professional epoxy experience. • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
• Commercial construction epoxy experience
• Epoxy and urethane flooring
• Trowel epoxy experience
• Reliable means of transportation
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Pass pre-employment background check
• Acceptance of general safety and driver safety requirements
• Customer service oriented
• Valid driver license
• Present a professional appearance and attitude
• KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
• Effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, customers
• Safely and efficiently moving and protecting items located within the scope of work to ensure it is not damaged during work
• Proper preparation and installment of underlayment and other flooring components
• Knowledge of various concrete coating systems
• Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques, including grinding and repairing concrete
• Proficient in epoxy mixing, blending, and application methods to achieve desired textures and finishes
• Skilled in troubleshooting and addressing potential challenges during epoxy install process
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• TYPICAL SHIFT :

A typical shift for an RSVC Company epoxy technician can vary per shift and can be described in general terms. Epoxy technicians will look at their scheduled shift on their work order app. on their phone to see location(s) of jobsite(s) and scope(s) of work. They may be required to drive directly to the jobsite(s), pick up materials or other employees at a specific location(s) or the RSVC Company shop in Riverside. Once at the designated job location(s), materials are to be pulled and readied for use on the job. Work is to be executed with proper safety precautions and with efficiency. Progress photos to be taken before / during / after work. Employees must keep effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. Once work is completed, epoxy technicians are expected to produce a report for completed work, and have customers sign off on completed work for their shift. Epoxy technicians are expected to clean all work items and leave worksite space as it was prior to their arrival unless otherwise informed.

• LOCATION :
• Main Office – Riverside, CA.
• Employees are required to travel to and from jobsites. Most jobsites are in southern California. Employees may be required to travel out of town or out of state depending on Company needs and job requirements.
• WORK SCHEDULE :

Work schedules may vary depending on Company needs. RSVC Company may have needs for day or night shift employees, weekend work, and overtime.

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
• Ability to push / pull minimum of 100 pounds (objects, equipment, etc.)
• Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds (trash, supplies, etc.)
• Ability to climb, bend, sit, kneel, lay out horizontally, walking, etc. as jobs require
• IT REQUIREMENTS :

RSVC Company uses apps / programs for timekeeping, recording of jobsite activities such as; work progress photos, daily reports, creation of PO’s for purchasing of materials, logging of materials used for billing, contact between other RSVC employees and supervisors, customer contact, and other work related requirements.
