Job Description

• The Sr. Process Engineer provides real-time expertise on the manufacturing of specialized PCB's, SMT and electronics, optimizing existing and new manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
• They will train technicians on processes.
• They will conduct continuous improvement efforts at the process level to reduce defects, improve yields, and improve productivity in order to deliver customer excellence and achieve client’s enduring goals.
• They will interface with customer engineering departments to ensure Product and Quality teams success during process-related customer inquiries and escalations.
• Manage site technology transfer to support customer requirements

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer with electronics manufacturing

3+ years of experience with automated dispense / die attach process (both chip on board and flip chip)

Experience with Project Management

Experience with statistical process control (SPC) including JMP or Minitab

Experience with Gage R&R

BS in Engineering

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

Experience with Datacon EVO 2200 is HIGHLY preferred

Experience with MRSI M5 is HIGHLY preferred

Experience with contract manufacturer OR job shop environment
