Rockstar is on the lookout for an energetic and well-organized Production Assistant to provide both physical and technical support. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the video gear and facial capture equipment used in our performance capture shoots. This is a position best suited to technical-minded, detail-oriented individuals with exceptional people skills. The ability to work well with a team, take direction, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure is critical.

This is an in-office position based out of Rockstar’s new studio on the Westside of Los Angeles, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily tasks to set up facial capture equipment prior to talent arrival.
• Support the larger capture team throughout Performance Capture shoots and / or ADR / VO sessions.
• Prep talent with on-body capture equipment and adjust hardware between takes.
• Monitor multiple video feeds to ensure proper alignment of performance data.
• Quickly identify problems and provide solutions to help keep our systems and equipment operational in real time.
• Communicate and document when equipment needs maintenance or if supplies need replenishment.
• Support inter-departmental workflows to keep up with the pace and demands of production.
• Ensure quality and continuity of all recorded videos.
