Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist shall provide timely and courteous services to patients, physicians, and hospital staff by performing Nuclear Medicine procedures accurately and efficiently. This individual will detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility to problem solve. The Technologist will maintain instruments and troubleshoot when necessary. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience : Graduate of a School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or School of Radiologic Technology required.

License / Certification : Active ARRT (N) or CNMT licensure required, BLS required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
• Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must remain aware of patient condition at all times.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
