Pay Rate : $22 - $27 / hour

Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM Pacific

Additional : Saturday rotation, 2x monthly

Job Summary

As a Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) , you will be the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health screenings or critical diagnostic needs. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills , strong customer service abilities , and the ability to create an environment of trust and professionalism. The PSR I performs specimen collection, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures patient confidentiality while promoting a safe and supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to standard procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation for compliance and reporting
  • Support patients by explaining collection procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
  • Promote process excellence and uphold confidentiality of patient information
  • Assist in daily activities under supervision, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment in the patient services center
  • Follow clinical and forensic collection guidelines with accuracy and professionalism
  • Participate in weekend, holiday, on-call, and overtime coverage as needed

    • Required Experience

  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
  • Customer service experience in retail or healthcare environment
  • Keyboard / data entry proficiency

    • Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Phlebotomy certification Required in California
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)

    • Nice-to-Have Experience

  • 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred
