PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Work in various Glass batching areas to create consistent and compliant product for processing / filling. Assemble, operate, and maintain equipment including, but not limited to : various grinding and blending equipment, batch kettle, stuffers and peelers, tote concentrate, and lift-truck.
• Complete in-process quality checks and all documentation associated with quality and production record keeping according to the QMS and assigned duties for the day.
• Order / return materials for production including staging materials to location using current inventory system.
• Perform varied clean-up duties. These may include, but are not limited to : CIP, COP, general housekeeping, assembly and disassembly of equipment, checking and connecting line paths, line flushing, and returning of unused ingredients.
• Collaborate with supervisor and fellow associates / technicians to run production, troubleshoot, problem solve and determine ideas for continuous improvement.
• Additional duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.

Work pace is generally above normal with occasional challenges to maintaining the level of pace. Pace is often dependent on specific product runs and configurations of materials, processes and frequency of checks and rinses. Also, work requires intermittent to moderate physical exertion.
