Job descriptionA minimum 3 years ICU or ED experience is required; EMT experience preferred. PALS / NRP / ACLS / EMT certification required within first year of employment and CCRN certification required within 2 years of employment. BSN required. Includes day / night rotating 12 hour shifts, every third weekend. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 for new hires (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years).
This Neonatal / Pediatric Transport RN will be responsible for :
- Total clinical nursing care of stable and unstable critically ill children during transportation – both ground and air transports.
- Communicating coordinating care with multidisciplinary team members from sending and receiving facilities.
