Essential Functions
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy consistent with treatment objectives and clinical standards.
- Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to address behavioral, emotional, and social issues.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, presenting patient updates and clinical recommendations.
- Communicate recommendations to case management and providers as clinically appropriate.
- Maintain an assigned caseload and provide documentation consistent with regulatory and accrediting body standards.
- Prepare progress notes, treatment updates, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure appropriate coordination of post-discharge care, including community referrals and follow-up plans.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed for patients and families.
- Support collaboration between internal teams, referral sources, and external agencies to ensure continuity of care.

Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives while maintaining regulatory and industry standards.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Accept responsibility for professional growth and development of self and attend all mandatory in-services and staff development activities.Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of facility employees and patients.Perform other duties as assigned.Education / Experience / Skill Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.Minimum of one year of experience as a therapist, providing services across diverse populations.Demonstrated skill in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, therapeutic modalities, and behavioral health treatment standards.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting and coordinate patient care across services.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Competence in EHR systems and documentation standards.Licenses / Designations / Certifications
Licensed or license-eligible as a clinical therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) as required by state law.CPR and de- escalation / restraint certification required (training provided upon hire).First Aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements.
