MADO Healthcare partners with persons who live with mental illness to offer hope in recovery and wellness

The Housekeeper is responsible for various cleaning tasks throughout the facility in order to maintain the facility in a sanitary, infection-free condition.

Essential Duties Include:

• Maintain the facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
• Dispose of trash and other waste into trash cans. Empty trash cans daily and as needed.
• Handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals and comply with regulations such as OSHA, EPA, Health Departments, etc. Polish/dust furniture, light fixtures, window sills, blinds, lamps, handrails, etc.Wet mop floors in all resident rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobby areas daily. Pull furniture away to deep clean 1x monthly.
• Check vacant rooms daily and keep clean and fresh.
• Clean tubs, mirrors, commodes and showers daily. Ensure bathrooms are free of odor.
