A laboratory technologist who applies clinical expertise in evidence-based laboratory
practice to provide education and support to the laboratory including both students
completing clinical rotations and laboratory teammates. The Lab Educator provides
direct support in the creation of educational curriculum and works in collaboration with
the system lab leaders, program chairs, and laboratory staff. This position requires an
individual to work with a high-level of independence, be a system thinker with strong
collaboration skills, excel in communication, and have a passion for creating and
delivering innovative educational solutions for leaders, students, and teammates.

Works in a fast-paced clinical environment. Works in an area which contains biohazardous (infectious) materials along with chemical, fire, and mechanical hazards. Duties may involve standing, walking, stretching, stooping, bending, and lifting light (20 pound) to moderately heavy (50 pound) loads.
