Job descriptionProvide advanced clinical care in critical care and ICU settings Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients under physician supervision Perform and assist in procedures relevant to critical care Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to facility protocols and documentation requirements Wisconsin PA license required NCCPA certification required Board certification in Critical Care Medicine required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Locum tenens candidates must be able to secure credentialing (up to 90 days), with temporary / emergency privileges available for clean backgrounds Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Avoid the hassle of permanent relocation by taking on temporary assignments in various locations, experiencing different communities without long-term commitment. About The Position
We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This opportunity begins on Feb 16, 2026, with 12-hour day or night shifts in a critical care and ICU setting. Candidates must be licensed in Wisconsin and be able to start as soon as credentialed, with temporary privileges available for clean backgrounds.
