The position involves working four 12-hour night shifts. The candidate must be well-versed in high-risk delivery and vaginal delivery assistance. They should be capable of providing couples care and discharge teaching to parents. Experience with various obstetric complications such as chronic hypertension, gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, and gestational diabetes mellitus is essential. The role requires collaboration within a highly engaging team. The unit provides antenatal testing, observation, and postpartum care. Nursing staff assist with newborn assessments and neonatal resuscitation as needed. We care for both low and high-risk obstetric patients. This role includes working with a collaborative interdisciplinary support team. Candidates are expected to meet the facility's staffing and acuity needs during shifts. Completion of all required certifications and licenses is essential for consideration.
