We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism or other developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in home, clinic, or community settingsCollect and record data on observable client behaviorAssist in the development of treatment goals and objectivesCollaborate with the supervisory team to ensure client progressMaintain confidentiality of all client informationSkills / Qualifications
Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of behavior management techniquesFamiliarity with medical terminology and documentationAbility to work effectively with a diverse team of professionalsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsUnderstanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principlesBackground in social work, special education, or behavioral health is a plusPatient care experience is beneficialJob Details
