Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location : Thomasville, Georgia 31792 Healthcare Setting : IMCU Stepdown Unit Assignment Length : 13 weeks (extension possible) Start Date : December 1, 2025 Nursing Shifts : Night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Shift Duration : 12 hours Schedule Options : 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1610 per week Required Attire : Royal blue scrubs (not provided) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care or ICU nursing experience BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications Proficiency in IV starts, lab draws, sample collection, and titrating critical drips Intermediate knowledge of Fluid Management (FM) Previous travel nursing experience preferred Ability to work some weekends and holidays Must reside at least 31 miles from the facility (local candidates within 30 miles not eligible) Cardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Stepdown / IMCU unit Monitor, assess, and document cardiac patient conditions and progress Initiate and manage IVs, perform lab draws, and collect samples Titrate and monitor critical cardiac drips per physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on cardiac care and recovery Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Thomasville, Georgia!
