We are currently hiring Armed Security Officers to join our team in Huntsville, AL. If you are professional, dependable, and customer-service driven, we invite you to apply and become part of a company that values its employees as its greatest asset.

As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. You will perform general security duties while upholding DSI and client-specific post instructions and safety standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment through a visible armed presence, routine foot patrols, and operation of metal detection equipment in a busy, high-traffic location
  • Observe, identify, report, and respond appropriately to safety hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
  • Enforce all client and DSI policies, procedures, and post instructions with professionalism and consistency
  • Interact courteously and professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the general public
  • Complete all required reports, logs, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in required training programs and comply with all DSI safety policies, procedures, and manuals
  • Remain alert and capable of standing and walking for extended periods while performing assigned duties
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state driver's license (required)
  • Reliable transportation and means of communication
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
  • Must pass all required background checks, motor vehicle screening, and drug screening
Certification Requirements
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Valid concealed carry permit

$20.00 per hour
