Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Maternal - Newborn Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job ID : T4H - 914 Job Summary : The RN in Labor & Delivery is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, ensuring the highest standards of maternal and newborn safety. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support mothers and infants throughout labor, delivery, and recovery. Responsibilities : Provide skilled care to couplets, antepartum patients, and GYN surgical patients Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assessing and documenting vital signs and progress Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and surgical procedures Administer medications, IVs, and epidurals per physician orders and hospital protocols Educate and support patients and families on the childbirth process, recovery, and newborn care Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring proper intervention and coordination with the medical team Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR system Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols at all times Shift / Hours : Night Shift (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
