The High School Dual Enrollment (HSDE) program at Santa Fe College (SF) provides qualified secondary students with an opportunity to complete their high school credits and take classes at the college toward their academic and career goals. The Office Supervisor organizes and directs the clerical and functional operations of the High School Dual Enrollment Office. This position also provides initial support to students, staff, and community members who have questions or concerns before referral to leadership. Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties Include :
Provides oversite and management of staff and / or operations with delegated authority within assigned department, office or program area.
Exercises independent judgement in addressing the daily concerns of internal and external constituents; may act on behalf of the supervisor in their absence.
Determines how and when issues should be escalated to supervisor.
Delegates and assigns duties as required to meet department goals.
Assists in the tasks of daily office management, which may include payroll, budget reports, ordering supplies, travel, or scheduling.
Evaluates departmental, office or program operations and activities; recommends improvements and modifications.
Coordinates the hiring process including completion of required documents and making recommendations for new hires and terminations.
Provides training, coaching, discipline and evaluation of direct reports.
Provides administrative support and leadership through completion of assignments, which may include researching, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data for special projects, programs, and various comprehensive reports.
Prepares or directs the preparation of annual, quarterly, or administrative reports.
Assists with maintaining the budget including tracking of expenditures and coordinating purchasing activities.
Maintains calendars of department or office activities, meetings and various events; coordinates activities with other departments, offices, students, the public and outside agencies.
May assist in the development or upkeep of the department / area webpage.
Complies with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws / regulations governing public employees, including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
Strictly honors the privacy, security, and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to appropriate state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures.
Provides service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required : An associate degree with four (4) years of related work experience or a combination of completed education and / or related work experience equal to six (6) years.
Additional Requirements : A criminal background check will be conducted.
Preferred : Prior supervisory or management experience, as well as bookkeeping and budgeting experience.
