The Nuclear Medicine Technologist p erforms health care services utilizing radiopharmaceuticals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states. Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures and uses related techniques, producing images for interpretation by the Radiologist. Performs required equipment quality control procedures and reports deficiencies to supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements :

Education : Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from CAAHEP approved school.

Experience : One-year experience preferred.

License or Registration Requirements : Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB and current South Carolina license issued by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
