Position Summary
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the facility in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Administrator ensures the highest level of care and services to residents while maintaining compliance, financial stability, and a positive work culture for staff.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing and rehabilitation facility.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including Department of Health and CMS standards.
Lead and support department heads to achieve operational excellence and quality resident care.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation efficiently.
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community.
Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and professional development.
Monitor quality assurance programs and implement improvement initiatives.
Represent the facility during inspections, audits, and external meetings.
Maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and continuing education required by Pennsylvania state law.
Qualifications
Current Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in good standing.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3 years of management experience in long-term care or healthcare administration.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare reimbursement systems.
