Job description

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Mercy hospital. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

  • General position
  • Schedule : physician daylight coverage M-F 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM; M-F 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM
  • Call : All days - beeper call, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
  • CRNA supervision, 2.75 : 1 concurrency target
  • Hospital has 24 anesthesiologists and 33 CRNAs
  • Academic appointment : yes
