End Date : February 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1610

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Orientation : 3 shifts (1 general, 2 unit-specific)

Scheduling : Self-scheduling, every other weekend

Charting System : MEDITECH EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum 1 year recent Med / Surg RN experience (2 years preferred)

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)

IV Start skills required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Ability to provide 2 supervisory references

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care for medical and surgical conditions (general surgery, orthopedics, CHF, diabetes, sepsis)

Perform IV starts and administer medications

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team (including aides and unit secretary)

Document patient care in MEDITECH EMR system

Participate in self-scheduling and work weekends / holidays as needed

Float to overflow unit or ICU for less critical patients when required

Complete thorough orientation for seamless transition into the unit
