Shop Assistant ( Upgrader)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Assistant ( Upgrader) to join our dynamic team within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks related to assembly and upgrading products. This position reuires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties :

  • Assist in teh assembly of prodcuts on the production line, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effeciently to perform upgrades and modifications on products
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to safety protocols
  • Utilize forlift equipment for moving materials and finished products within the warehouse as needed
  • Support inventory management by tracking materials and reporting shortages or discrepancies
  • Conduct routine maintenance checkson machinery and equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors
  • Follow all manufacturing processes and guidelines to ensure effecient production flow
  • Light Janitorial Work

Experience :

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred ( Shop experience)
  • Famliarity with assembly line processes is highly desirable
  • Mechanical knkowledge is essential, with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Warehouse expereience, including operating forklifts, is a plus
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship is required.
